The rates fines imposed on overdue loans will be increased with effect from 14th April 2008. Any books due on or after this date which are not returned by the due date will attract the following fine rates:
- Reserve items - $2.00 per hour
- All other loans - $1.00 per hour
Fines will accrue at these rates until the item is returned. These rates are in line with the minimum rates charged at other universities in Australia.
Library services are suspended once a loan is overdue or where a borrower owes $10.00 or more in Library fines. Statements of results will be with-held at the end of semester where loans remain outstanding or where a borrower owes $10.00 or more in Library fines.
All notices relating to the University Library are sent via the University's Webmail service. You should check this daily to ensure that you do not miss Library notices and requests to return materials.
