Short Disruption to access to Library e-resources

Access to the Library's collection of e-resources (databases, e-journals, and e-books) is provided via piece of 'middleware' that confirms you are a legitimate user of the content.

This service is due to be upgraded to a new version and we intend to take this opportunity to upgrade the server that this 'middleware' is housed on at the same time. Both measures are being taken to improve the reliability of this important service.

This upgrade will take place from 2.30pm on Friday the 11th of April and is expected to take 30 minutes.  During this upgrade you will be unable to connect to the e-resources both on and off campus.
