Craven Law Library closed 24th November 2012 to 4th February 2013

The Craven Law Library will be closed from the 24th November 2012 until at least the 4th February 2013 (we will advise all students via email if the date is past the 4th)

This is so that building work can be carried out to repair the roof; improve the lighting and install reverse cycle air conditioning.

We also plan to relocate the collections in the Law Library, with primary materials on the mezzanine and secondary sources on the ground floor.

How will this impact you ?

· Reserve Collection will relocate to the St Teresa’s Library; also short term 3 day loans.

· Summer units? Reserve and other resources will relocate to St Teresa’s Library.

· Minter Computer Lab will be open during January (after 3 Jan) on weekdays 8.30 am – 4.30 pm.

· Digital resources will all be available 24/7 (eg LexisNexisAU, WestlawAU, CCH etc etc).

· Require help with legal research? Email jean.mckay@nd.edu.au or robyn.schofield@nd.edu.au or ask in the St Teresa’s Library (who can contact us).

· Returning borrowed books – the due date on standard loans has been extended to 1 March 2013. However you may return all borrowed books to the Craven Law Library (up to 23 November) or the St Teresa’s Library (24 Nov onwards). Note standard loans can still be recalled by other students/staff, so if you are going away over the summer then it is best to return books before you leave.

Please get in touch with fremantle.cravenlibrary@nd.edu.au  if you have any questions about the closure.
