Centralised Document Delivery and Inter Library Loans at Fremantle.

As part of the Library’s ongoing commitment to service improvement, the document delivery and inter-library loan services for the Fremantle Campus Libraries is being centralised to one service point. This centralised approach will not only provide efficiencies in service delivery, but will allow us to develop an improved relationship with content suppliers and increase the range of resources that can be accessed via this service.

The document delivery and inter-library loan services are the means by which we obtain copies of materials which are not part of our collections upon request from research students and academic staff.

The key things you need to know about the service are:
  • To register for this service (which you must do annually) - you need to complete the document delivery registration form, and scan and email it to fremantle.documentdelivery@nd.edu.au
  • To submit a request for an article or book  – you need to complete the document delivery request form and email it to fremantle.documentdelivery@nd.edu.au
  • The pickup and return location for all inter-library loans will be the Library Service Desk in St Teresa’s Library.
  • All queries regarding this service can also be sent to fremantle.documentdelivery@nd.edu.au, and document delivery service staff can be contacted by phone on extension 2255
  • Registration and request forms for this service can be downloaded here
  • Further information on the service can be found here
In 2013 we hope to further develop the service by increasing the range of materials we can gain access to.  We will keep all staff informed of developments in the services via email and the Library News service.
