TVNews videos are now searchable in Summon

Videos from the  Informit TVNews database are now fully searchable in Summon. You can search for a program by the program name, episode or abstract information and link directly to the online video.

What is TVNews?, it is a database of news and current affairs programs broadcast by Australian free-to-air networks that provides students, lecturers and researchers the power to browse, search and retrieve news and related current affairs stories that are updated daily and available via your desktop, mobile device or for viewing in a classroom. 

TVNews provides the user with the ability to compare and analyse programs, reporting styles and content.  Archived programs are available from 2007 onwards and an email alert service will help you track the stories that matter to you

 

No special software or hardware  is required to access TVNews.
