The University Library is once again conducting a survey to ascertain
how well our collections and services are meeting the needs of our staff and
students.
The survey is conducted using an online survey instrument administered
externally by a company called Insync. This survey is widely used
at Australian university libraries, and as we run the survey every two years,
we are able to compare our results against our own Library’s past performance
as well as that of other libraries since 2013, and continuing into the future.
The survey will take 5 to 15 minutes to complete, depending on how
detailed you choose to make your comments. We encourage you to provide comments—they
will be kept anonymous, and the Library will only receive the text. We
find your ideas, recommendations, complaints, and compliments in many ways to
be the most valuable output from the survey because they provide specific
details about what you want from the Library. We use this advice in
planning changes and developments in Library collections, facilities, and
services, so please feel free to use the comment boxes as much as you’d like.
Upon completion of the survey, students will be eligible for entry into
a draw to win an iPad (National Grand Prize) or one of three $100 CoOp vouchers
(Campus Runner-Up Prize). The draw will be conducted by the staff at Insync and the
winners notified by email.
The survey is due to end on Sunday 13th September 2015 and is
available from http://bit.ly/undalibrarysurvey2015 or from the
Library homepage at http://library.nd.edu.au
We appreciate your time in completing this survey, and we look forward
to hearing from you!
