Our aim is to continuously develop our collections and services in ways you will find useful and easy to access.
To help us in this task we provide a series of ways in which you can ‘have your say’ about our collections and services. These strategies are explained on the 'have your say' webpage and include:
- A simple online form which enables you to recommend a book, eBook or DVD for purchase. Your recommendations go directly to a staff member who can determine if the resource is available and meets our selection criteria (you can review these criteria here). We buy the vast majority of titles which are recommended.
- The AskUs FAQ service which enables you to submit a question to us about how to use our services and collections
- A simple online feedback form for your comments, ideas, suggestions – this comes directly to me and either I or one of my colleagues will reply directly to your feedback if you provide your details in the form or you can remain anonymous
- The results of our User Surveys from 2011, 2013 and 2015 including lists of the improvements we have made based on the feedback we received from you in these surveys
We value your input and find your ideas one of the best sources of information to help us make decisions about our services so please let us know what you are think about our services and what you need from your library.
