Pre-Overdue Notices are now available via Library Elf

Elf is an Internet-based tool for keeping track of University Library items you have due, overdue and ready for pickup. Users can keep track of their NDA library account and receive reminders (sometimes called pre-overdue notices).

Reminders are sent when the user wants it -- before items are due (up to seven days advance notice, weekly notice or everyday reminders). You can even set up an RSS feed for your personal blog!

How do I sign up??

  1. You will need to have already registered your Library Card at the University Library and have set up your Login for the Library Catalogue (Horizon Information Portal)
  2. Go to the Library Elf site and click on Sign Up (side bar on the left under Sign Up/Help)
  3. Click on 'Before signing up, check if your library is on Elf'
  4. Find 'University of Notre Dame Australia' under International and click on 'signup'
  5. You will then be taken back to the 'Create your account' page. Complete steps 1 - 4 using your NDA email address and Library Catalogue password that you already created (1st step in this procedure)
  6. Once this is done and you have confirmed everything, you can configure your Elf Account and check your cards.
