Building a Better Library

The Library has distributed to students via email a document entitled 'University Library - Your Responsibilities'. The document outlines some behaviours we ask students to comply with while using the University Library as a way of ensuring that everybody is able to enjoy an environment that is comfortable and conducive to study and research. Please expect Library Staff to approach you if they believe you are not complying with 'Your Responsibilities'. I ask that you respect that the Library Staff are doing this on behalf of other customers and respond in a civil manner. I have sent this document out to all Library Staff and remind them of the power of our obligations to you. It is my expectation that every interaction you have with Library Staff, whether in person, via email or via phone, is one characterised by mutual respect.

'University Library - Your Responsibilities' will soon appear in individual libraries and on the Library Website.
