New eResources - New journal titles recently added to the collection

The Library is pleased to bring you access to the following electronic journals:

The journal of continuing education in nursing
"The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing is a monthly peer-reviewed publication providing original articles on continuing nursing education that are directed towards continuing education and staff development professionals, nurse administrators, and nurse educators in all health care settings for over 40 years. The Journal is indexed in MEDLINE/PubMed and CINAHL and has an Impact factor of 1.054".
Access to full text articles is available from 2006 onwards.

Journal of gerontological nursing
"The Journal of Gerontological Nursing is a monthly, peer-reviewed publication of clinically relevant original articles on the practice of gerontological nursing across the continuum of care in a variety of health care settings, for almost 40 years. ·  The Journal is indexed in MEDLINE/PubMed and CINAHL and has an Impact Factor of 0.783".

Research in gerontological nursing

International research in children's literature

Contemporary issues in early childhood
"Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood (CIEC) is a peer-reviewed international research journal. The journal provides a forum for researchers and professionals who are exploring new and alternative perspectives in their work with young children (from birth to eight years of age) and their families. CIEC aims to present opportunities for scholars to highlight the ways in which the boundaries of early childhood studies and practice are expanding, and for readers to participate in the discussion of emerging issues, contradictions and possibilities".

"CIEC incorporates interdisciplinary, cutting edge work which may include the following areas: post structuralist, postmodern and post colonial approaches, queer theory, sociology of childhood, alternative viewpoints of child development, and deal with issues such as language and identity, the discourse of difference, new information technologies, stories and voices, curriculum, culture and pedagogy, or any combination of such ideas".
