The University Library is conducting a survey to ascertain how well the University Library collections and services are meeting the needs of our staff and students.
The survey employs a standard survey instrument which is administered externally by a company called InSynch. This survey is widely used at Australian university libraries. This means we can assess our results against these libraries during 2013 and over time.
The survey will take 5 to 10 minutes to complete, depending on how detailed you choose to make your comments. Your comments are anonymous but the resulting full set of comments is passed to us for analysis. We find the comments in many ways the most valuable output from the survey because they provide specific details about what you want from the Library. We use this advice in planning changes and developments in Library collections and services.
Students submitting the survey will go into the draw to win an iPad mini. We have one of these to give away in WA and one in NSW. The draw will be made by the staff at Insynch and the winners notified by email.
