Renovations in the St Teresa's Library

Throughout the summer builders have been working on the construction of a student centre in the ground level of building Nd7.  This is the building attached to the St Teresa's Library (Nd17) and visible from the Library and Mouat Street.

The student centre will bring together the key student support services of Student Administration, the Fees Office and the Student Life Office.  Students will be able to access services during business hours Monday to Friday either by entering from the new Mouat Street entrance or from the St Teresa's Library.  Likewise students will then be able to access the Library from Mouat Street.

As part of the project there is a new bathroom facility being built outside the St Teresa's Library.

These works are likely to be finished in early March with an opening of the services in early April.

Until the work is finished there may be some noise within the Library and some obstructions in the courtyard outside of the Library.  We will endeavour to keep the noise and disruption to a minimum.  We appreciate your patience.

Works at the St Teresa's Library (Fremantle Campus)

For the next two weeks there is a project running to upgrade the lighting on the ground floor of the St Teresa’s Library.

This work means that areas of the Library will have no lighting and there will be some noise as the electricians prepare to mount the new light fixtures.

We apologise for the disturbance and would remind you that the other two campus libraries are open for business and should be both lighter and quieter.

St Teresa's Library Closed 26th and 27th March

On the weekend of the 26th and 27th March 2011, the St Teresa's Library at the Fremantle Campus will be closed.

The closure is to allow the installation of a lift to the new mezzanine level of the Library. The work involved is extensive requiring two full days to be completed and, for reasons of safety, cannot be conducted with students in the building.

To provide the normal level of access to Library services and for this weekend only we will extend the Craven Law Library opening hours to begin at 12.30pm and end at 6.00pm. During this time, Library staff will be able to retrieve books you require from the St Teresa's collection.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
