SuperSearch Service to end 30.11.10

As flagged in previous posts, the Library’s SuperSearch service will end on 30th November 2010. SuperSearch has been replaced by the Summon discovery service. There is a search box and information about Summon and how to use it on the Library Homepage.

At present Summon is searching across our eJournal and eBook content. In 2011 we plan to enable that search to cover the contents of the Library catalogue and inter-file the search results with the eResource results.

Informit database access via SuperSearch

We are currently experiencing issues accessing the Informit databases (including A+ Education; APAFT, AGIS, Meditext, Humanities collection & TV News) via SuperSearch.

While this matter is being resolved it is recommended that you perform your searches from within the Informit databases or via the A-to-Z Journal Search.
