It is an inevitable fact that the Library withdraws books from its collections. Generally we do this because the books are in poor condition or because they have been superseded by newer versions. This leaves us with the dilemma of what to do with the books we withdraw. Where possible we re-house the books with other libraries that will still find them valuable in their collections. In late 2014 we were able to offer a collection of medical textbooks from the Galvin Medical Library at our Fremantle Campus to a the ESUT Medical School in Enugu Nigeria. Here is a photo of the books arriving at their new home.
